Alex&Co. preserves the garments samples made over the years in a Historical Archive of over 700 units. Although it was only physical at the beginning, since 2021, the Company Archive has been digitized to benefit from the knowledge of the past in order to improve the production of the present and the future.
2020
Alex&Co. welcomes, for the first edition of the HModa Academy, 5 girls who follow a Dual Apprenticeship training course. The aim is to respond to the demand for technical-professional skills in the world of work. There is a need for new lymph and new generations to appreciate this work. All this is not simple, because our work is different» says Carlo Mancioli, emphasizing the satisfaction that awaits young people at the end of the training course

Over the years Alex&Co. stops the development and the production of it’s own line in order to strategically dedicate 100% of the internal resources to the creation of collections for famous luxury Brands. The experience gained in the sector has allowed to reach different moments of extreme satisfaction, as an example personal calls from famous international luxury designers.
2019
Alex&Co. is acquired by HModa, part of Holding Industriale. The holding company proposes itself as a medium-long term partner for the enhancement of small and medium-sized Made in Italy Companies, with the aim of encouraging growth, internationalization and generational turnover. The founders Antonio Tesi and Carlo Mancioli remain within the Company in their historical roles.
2007-2019
The Company offers a CAD modeling service, which allowed to further develop the modeling capabilities of the department. In general, it is however important to stress that, due to the high quality of products, most of the processing of Alex&Co. is manually made by skilled workers.

Although in the role of founders, Carlo Mancioli and Antonio Tesi have maintained their responsibilities regarding the creation of the collections and production for the former, and the selection of raw materials, quality control and cutting of the product for the latter. Over time, the Company has collaborated with important international luxury Brands, participating in the creation of memorable collections.

In the first years of its history, the Company produces for 30% collections for some important international luxury Brands, with a focus on the development of the internal line of leather clothing.
2007
Vinci is selected as the headquarters of the new Company, to maintain continuity with the historic workers and for attachment to a territory, the area of Empoli, renowned worldwide for the production of leather clothing.

Alex&Co. was founded by Carlo Mancioli and Antonio Tesi in Vinci in the province of Florence, the birthplace of Leonardo. The decision to create Alex&Co. was born after ten years of experience within an important manufacturing leather clothing Company, in which the two founders meet as colleagues.
